Head of Technology

• Head of Technology – KS3/KS4
• Permanent role starting September
• Full time Monday – Friday role
• MPS – UPS + TLR 2c (TLR £7368)
• Excellent progression opportunities available within the school/trust
• Leading CPD in the area
• Excellent facilities in the technology department
• Plan and deliver a full KS3 and KS4 Technology curriculum (Design Technology and Food and Nutrition/ Hospitality and Catering)

Head of Technology – about the role:

• Lead a mixture of new and experienced Teachers
• Monitor and develop high quality teaching and learning
• Provide training and support for your department
• Liaise with senior leaders and other department heads
• Monitor and evaluate the teaching within the faculty and identify effective practice and areas for development

Head of Technology – Person Specification:

• Proven excellent as a classroom teacher
• Be able to teach at least one technology subject to KS4
• Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades
• Strong classroom management
• Experience of involvement and impact at faculty level
• Unwavering commitment to improving the life chances of young people
