Graduate Tutor – The Role

• Graduate Tutor – Southwark
• Full-time, Mon – Fri
• Based in Southwark, SE17
• Paid teaching placement £90 – £95 per day
• Deliver small study groups on a 1:1/group basis
• Track student progress and identify areas of improvement
• Ensure all pupils are taught to a high standard
• Liaise with class teacher regarding progress of pupil’s schoolwork and attitude
• Assist teacher with student’s learning and progress evaluation
• Maintain student’s records for examination targets
• Support students in tutor group time

• Graduate Tutor – South-East London
• Close by to Elephant and Castle station
• Ofsted rated “good” secondary school (ages 11-19)

Graduate Tutor – Role Requirements

• Graduate Tutor – aspiring teacher
• Must be a graduate, 2:1 or above
• Good A-Levels or equivalent
• Engaging and proactive person
• Ability to manage own workload
• Passionate about working with young people
• Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour either in an educational setting or training environment
