Are you a recent UK based Core Subject graduate looking to gain first-hand school based tutoring experience in a full-time role for the rest of the academic year?

i-teachers are currently working with a superb secondary academy located in the Rochdale area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally engaging Graduate Tutor to their teaching support department in a full-time position for the academic year.

In this role as a Graduate Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group GCSE tuition to Year 11 students focusing on their academic weak points. To be successful in this role the Graduate Tutor will need to build rapport with students struggling with exam stress, boost student confidence and support students with their academic progression.

Graduate Tutor – Role Information:

• Graduate Tutor
• Provide 1:1 & small group GCSE support to Year 11 students
• Focused support sessions around academic weak points of students
• Located in Rochdale (M24 area)
• Monday to Friday role – November 2024 to July 2025
• Paid £450 per week during term time
• Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Applicant Requirements – Graduate Tutor:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject degree
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
• Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to keep young people engaged and proactive
