Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Required to naturally inspire young people to be excited about and confident with maths
• Day-to-day, the role will require you to deliver pre-planned work to small groups of students or on a 1:1 basis
• Responsibility assisting the class teacher with leading the Curriculum and behaviour management
• The role is exciting and varied with the potential of gaining more responsibility and eventually organising and delivering your own booster sessions
• Long-term role, Monday to Friday hours
• Earn £450 – £550 a week, term time only

ABOUT YOU:

• Preferably you will have a 1st class of 2:1 degree in a core related degree
• You will have a keen interest in supporting and empowering students to be the best they can be
• You will need to be patient and resilient, with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality
• In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a keen interest in a career in education
