Graduate Speech, Language & Communication Needs Teaching Assistant – The Role:

• Graduate Speech, Language & Communication Needs Teaching Assistant
• Supporting students on a 1:1 and group basis with written, oral, and practical activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and be a positive role model to the children inside the classroom and on the playground
• Communicate with the children by using PECS, sign language and Makaton
• Support and assist their social and emotional and behavioural needs throughout the school day

Graduate Speech, Language & Communication Needs Teaching Assistant – The Benefits:

• Paid £300 – £350 per week, term time only
• Full-time role for the rest of the academic year (Now – July 2023)

Graduate Speech, Language & Communication Needs Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• 2:1 or above degree in any field
• Good A Levels and GCSEs
• Experience working with young people with SEN, specifically speech and language difficulties
• Passionate about supporting students to reach their goals
• Strong desire to help students achieve exceptional examination and vocational results
