Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – criteria

• Have a 2:1 or First Maths degree from a UK university
• Strong academic background including relevant A Levels and GCSEs
• Previous tutoring/mentoring experience is desirable
• Strong communicator
• Passion for making an impact in education

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – the role 

• Provide 1:1 tutoring
• Work with small groups of pupils who need extra support
• Monitor and track pupils’ progress and report back to the teacher
• Adapt your language and teaching style to suit varied academic levels
• Observe teachers and learn about classroom management
• £425 – £475  per week inclusive of holiday pay, term time only

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – the school
