Candidates will be working alongside teachers and sharing the responsibilities of planning, pupil progress and assessments. As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will be directly working with pupils providing 1:1 & group support.

• Previous experience working with children essential
• Graduate Learning Support Assistant
• 1:1 support for children with Autism/ADHD/Visual/Hearing Impairments/Speech and Language needs
• £350-£450 per Week, term time only

Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Responsibilities

• Support pupils in a 1:1 and group environment as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant
• Provide support to pupils where English is not their first language
• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities
• Assess pupil development
• Monitor pupil responses and learning achievements
• Work with parents to ensure pupils reach their full potential
• Support the teacher with planning and evaluating specialist learning activities
• Invigilate examinations and tests, when required
• Assist with pupil supervision outside of the classroom e.g. trips and out of school activities

Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Application Requirements

• Previous Learning Support Assistant experience is preferred but not required
• Graduate from a degree related to Graduate Learning Support Assistants or education related
• Minimum 2:2, Learning Support / education related degree
• Passionate about teaching
• Eager to gain first experience working with young people
