Graduate Cover Supervisor – The Role

• Start in September for the full academic year
• Work Monday – Friday School hours (8:30 – 4:30)
• Paid up to £325 per week (take home)
• Perfect Pre-PGCE experience
• Work in one school for the full academic year
• Full support and training provided from the school and from us

Graduate Cover Supervisor – The Responsibilities

• Supervise students carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence
• Create a calm learning environment
• Keep the class motivated and focused
• Ensure that students remain on task
• Day-to-day running of the library and learning centre
• Opportunity to run enrichment activities

Graduate Cover Supervisor – Person Specifications

• Degree in any subject
• Experience working or volunteering with young people
• Prior teaching experience
• Flexible, dynamic, and confident
• Resilient role model and a quick learner
• Enthusiastic about teaching and being a part of the school’s warm community
