Start the new half-term by building up your classroom & school-based experience in this highly rewarding Graduate Academic Mentor role.

As a Graduate Academic Mentor you will be working with students on a 1:1 and group basis in mixed ability classes, across a range of departments. There is also scope for supporting the school during the exam period, as well as participating in school residentials and extra-curricular activities.

Graduate Academic Mentor – The role:

– Long-term, full-time support role
– Support students on a 1:1 and group basis
– Build up classroom experience & knowledge
– £85 – £95 per day, term time only
– Ideal experience for aspiring teachers

Graduate Academic Mentor – Person specification:

– Minimum 2:1 degree
– Strong academic background e.g. A Levels
– Flexible due to the nature of the role
– Enthusiastic, proactive & engaging manner
– Strong communication skills
– Build relationships with students & staff
– Can work independently and as a team
– Interested in education & teaching
