The role will be based in Reception for the most part of the day, but you may also be required to support in other year groups/SEN cover when required. General Primary Teaching Assistant – Job Description:
- Located in Haringey
- Great transport links
- Paid teaching placement up to £500 per week, term time only
- Support with specific areas of learning e.g., Literacy and Numeracy
- Encourage reading and monitor progress
- Support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with the delivery of phonics lessons
- Praise imaginative and creative students
- Work with the EYFS department
- You may also be required to support on a 1:1 basis in other year groups but the role will predominately be based in Reception
- Help create fun and inspiring lessons

Person Specification:
- Minimum 2:1 degree (other qualifications considered)
- Good A Levels
- Experience working with children/young pupils
- Creative and engaging personality
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Aspirations to work in education
- Knowledge of SEN
