i-teachers are currently working with an OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college located just outside of Birmingham City Centre who are eager to add a fantastic ESOL Support Tutor able to provide tailored 1:1 & small group tuition to students with ESOL in their adult learning department.

In this role as an ESOL Support Tutor, the successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday based inside of an OFSTED rated ‘outstanding’ sixth form college, earning £475 per week providing a mixture of 1:1, small group and classroom supervision support to adults with English as a second language.

ESOL Support Tutor  – Role Information:

  • Providing classroom supervision, small group & 1:1 tutoring support
  • Tailoring support sessions around students academic weak points
  • Located in central Birmingham (B11 area)
  • Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 16.30pm working hours
  • Paid £475 per week during term-time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

ESOL Support Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based English or ESOL subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
  • Passionate about a career supporting young people and adults
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
