English Tutor – Role/ Key responsibilities

English Tutor working with all 5 school years.

– Intervention planning

– Deliver personalised English tutoring to students focusing on key curriculum areas.

– Support students in developing strong reading, writing and analysis

– Ability to identify issues in pupils learning

– Assess and monitor and track students’ progress

– Plan and implement creative, hands-on English lessons

– Support in exam preparation

– Commitment to safeguarding protocols

English Tutor – Essential requirements

– 2:1 or above

– Passion for English Literature and language with the ability to inspire students

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

– Patient and encouraging attitude

– Looking for a future in the education world

– Right to work in the UK

– Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
