At i-teachers we are looking for a Passionate English Tutor to join a welcoming Secondary School located in Liverpool on a long-term basis.

Role/ Key responsibilities

English Tutor working with all 5 school years.

• Intervention planning
• Deliver personalised English tutoring to students focusing on key curriculum areas.
• Support students in developing strong reading, writing and analysis
• Ability to identify issues in pupils learning
• Assess and monitor and track students’ progress
• Plan and implement creative, hands-on English lessons
• Support in exam preparation
• Commitment to safeguarding protocols

Essential requirements

• 2:1 or above
• Passion for English Literature and language with the ability to inspire students
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Patient and encouraging attitude
• Looking for a future in the education world
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
