Job Type – Secondary School English Tutor    Location – Merseyside, Warrington

Pay – £33000-£34000 Per week                                     Contract Type – Long term

At i-teachers we are looking for a Secondary School English Teacher to join the team located in Warrington on a long-term basis.

Role/ Key responsibilities

• Support students in developing strong reading, writing and analysis
• Ability to identify issues in pupils learning
• Assess and monitor and track students’ progress
• Plan and implement creative, hands-on English lessons
• Support in exam preparation
• Commitment to safeguarding protocols
• Develop personalised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning goal
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a productive approach to student development

Essential requirements

• 2:1 or above
• Passion for English Literature and language with the ability to inspire students
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Patient and encouraging attitude
• Looking for a future in the education world
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
