Are you a recent English university subject graduate looking to find a position where you can utilise your degree subject knowledge in a full-time tutoring position for the academic year?

i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant secondary school located in the Liverpool area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally outgoing English Subject Tutor to their superb teaching support department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as an English Subject Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group tuition to Year 11 students for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time position.

English Subject Tutor – Role Information:

• English Subject Tutor
• Located in central Liverpool (L18)
• Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 15.30pm working hours
• Paid £450 per week during term-time only
• Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
• Providing small group & 1:1 tutoring support for Year 11 students
• Tailoring support sessions around students academic weak points

English Subject Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based English subject degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
• Passionate about a career working within specialist subject
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
