Early Years Teaching Assistant– Key Information:                                   

  • Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Located in Leeds, West Yorkshire (LS3)
  • £345 – £470 per week, term time only
  • Monday – Friday school hours, full time
  • Fantastic EY department- Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Visible and supportive SLT
  • Easily accessible via public transport links and a large car park for those who drive
  • Early Years Teaching Assistant- September start

Early Years Teaching Assistant– The Role:

  • Work with children in the EY department
  • Support a child with Autism
  • Learn through play
  • Support those with additional needs if required
  • Monitor children’s progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and mental health
  • Liaise with Head of Department

Early Years Teaching Assistant– Person Specification:

  • Early Years Teaching Assistant- Shortlisting and interviewing now
  • 1st class or 2:1 degree
  • Strong academic background – e.g. A levels and GCSEs
  • Previous experience working with children – essential
  • Experience with Autism – essential
  • Positive, resilient and uplifting individual
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
