A lovely primary school in Birmingham are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Early Years Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their thriving Resource Base – Autism Unit after the February half-term. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to support Early Years and KS1 pupils with autism reach their full potential.

Early Years Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – The Role:
- Early Years Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – Working in a Resource Base – Autism Unit
- Located in Birmingham B9
- Providing classroom support in the resource of a mainstream primary school
- Promoting the pupil’s educational, emotional, and social development
- Supporting pupils that need it the most and can be the hardest to reach
- Employing and adapting various teaching strategies to suit the needs of the child
Early Years Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – The Benefits:

Early Years Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 degree
- Have a good understanding of Autism
- Previous experience supporting an individual with Autism
- Passionate about supporting people with SEN
- Understanding, patient and empathetic towards children’s needs
- Dedicated to making a difference to pupils’ experience of education
Early Years Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant – The School:
