  • 16-19
  • Salary: £48108 to £52018 + £3,000

  • The College Day is 8.45 until 4.15 and each teaching period is 45 minutes long

 

Curriculum Manager in Health, Social Care and Early Years – The role:

  • Start: September 2024
  • Permanent contract
  • Full-time: a time-tabled teaching commitment of 23.5 hours plus almost 9 hours directed time per week
  • Delivery will focus on:  L1 – L3 BTEC and T Levels
  • The role will involve marking coursework and lesson planning
  • Supporting students’ University applications and overseeing personal statements
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends

 

Candidate specification – What the college are looking for:

  • UK QTS
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • 2:1 or 1st class degree, in an Economics related course
  • Strong academic background
  • Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades
  • Strong classroom management
  • Proven track record in curriculum development, with a focus on practical skills and real-world applications.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
