Core Subject Learning Support Mentor – The Role

• Core Subject Learning Support Mentor- Full-time
• Earn £70-£90 per day (term time only)
• Monday – Friday school hours (term time)
• Deliver 1:1 catch-up sessions
• Work for the rest of the academic year in one school
• Support pupils in small groups
• Monitor pupil progress
• Feedback to class teachers and SLT
• Vital experience for those considering teacher training

Core Subject Learning Support Mentor – Person Specification

• 1^st or 2:1 degree classification in a core subject
• Tutoring/coaching experience is desirable
• Strong academic background
• Aspiring teacher
• Excellent communication skills
• Passionate and resilient
