College Information Technology Teacher – The role:

• Start: September 2024
• Permanent contract
• Part-time: Mon & Wed 8:45 am – 17:00 pm and Fri 8:45 am – 12:30 pm
• Delivery will focus on: BTEC Computing and Digital T-Level
• The role will involve marking coursework and lesson planning
• Work alongside a supportive Senior Leadership Team
• Supporting students’ University applications and overseeing personal statements
• Providing UCAS references
• Monitoring student performance throughout the department, liaising with Personal Tutors and reporting regularly to Senior Leadership
• Attending Heads of Department meetings as required

Candidate specification – What the College are looking for:

• UK QTS
• 2:1 or 1st class degree, in a relevant course
• Strong academic background
• Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades
• Strong classroom management
• Strong record of pastoral work with students
