Computer Science/IT Graduate Mentor

 

Are you a Computing graduate who has a serious passion for IT and would love to encourage young people to take an interest in your subject?

Maybe you would like to work in education but you would first like to gain some first-hand experience in school first?

Computer Science/IT Graduate Mentor: Your Role

  • You will be working very closely with the brilliant teachers and practitioners that work there
  • You will be using your expert subject knowledge to assist and guide students through the discipline and ensure that they reach their targets and their goals
  • You will be working alongside the teachers of the department in learning to plan lessons and conduct your own intervention sessions.
  • Paid between £350-450 per week

 

Computer Science/IT Graduate Mentor: The School

  • Located in Southwark
  • Welcoming atmosphere
  • Have a very strong track record working with i-teachers graduates
  • The school does offer teacher training opportunities after the academic year for those who impress and who would love to stay on and train at the school to get their QTS

 

Computer Science/IT Graduate Mentor: Role Requirements

  • 1 or higher in a Computing based degree
  • Strong interest in working with young people
  • Previous tutoring experience is desirable
