Year 5 Teacher – Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective behavior management strategies.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Year 5 Teacher – Role Information:

• Permanent Year 5 Teacher Position
• MPS – UPS salary dependent on experience
• Teaching the core & wider curriculum subjects: English (Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing) and Maths. They include fluency practise to secure basic skills.
• Immediate Start – Interviewing for role ASAP!

Year 5 Teacher – Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Primary Education OR Secondary Science Education
• Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers
• Excellent subject knowledge – up to date with the UK Curriculum
• Positive and creative teacher who is a real team player
• Good classroom management skillset
• Good or outstanding lesson observations
• Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
