Business Lecturer – The role:

• Start: September 2024
• Permanent contract
• Full-time 1.0
• Responsible to: Curriculum Co-ordinator
• Delivery will focus on: A-Level Business Studies on the AQA exam board, and the BTEC National Curriculum
• The role will involve marking coursework and lesson planning
• Work alongside a supportive Senior Leadership Team
• Supporting students’ University applications and overseeing personal statements
• Providing UCAS references
• Opportunities for career progression with potential for TLR promotions down the line
• A full-time teacher will have 22.5 hours per week contact with students, split over 5 Teaching groups (15 periods) with 5 additional periods for preparation & marking.

• 2:1 or 1st class degree, in a relevant course
• Strong academic background
• Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades
• Strong classroom management
