Are you a recent UK based Psychology or Education Studies graduate with a passion for supporting students with complex needs as an Autism Teaching Assistant?

Do you have aspirations to pursue a career within Educational Psychology, and are keen to gain first-hand Autism based teaching experience?

i-teachers are currently working a lovely primary school located in the Kidderminster area who are looking for a dedicated, supportive and naturally outgoing Autism Teaching Assistant to provide detailed 1:1 SEN support to children with Autism in a full-time role for the academic year.

Autism Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group Autism support sessions
  • Tailoring support sessions around carefully structured EHCP
  • Creating engaging and supportive learning sessions
  • Located in Kidderminster area
  • Paid £450 per week during term time
  • Multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
  • Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025

Autism Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies university degree
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about the chance to utilise degree knowledge
  • Interested in gaining first-hand tutoring experience
