i-teachers are currently working with one of the top performing sixth form colleges in the country, who are eager to add a full-time Autism Support Teaching Assistant where you can provide 1:1 & small group tuition to A-Level students with complex learning difficulties.

Autism Support Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group tuition to A-Level students with SEN
  • Monitoring and helping progress academic & all-round progression of students
  • Creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences
  • Located in Birmingham, Balsall Heath area
  • Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 16.30pm working hours
  • Paid £95 per day during term-time only before tax
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

Autism Support Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Neuroscience subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Passionate about a career working within educational psychology
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and develop rapport with students

Autism Support Teaching Assistant – Sixth Form College:

  • OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college
  • Located in Birmingham – Minutes outside city centre (B12)
