Autism Resource Leader – Experienced Primary Teacher

Autism Resource Leader – Experienced Primary Teacher – The Role:
- £28 800 to £38 810 per Annum + SEN allowance
- Delivering a specific educational programme to children identified with an Educational Health Care Plan and a formal diagnosis of ASC
- Supporting the development of the ‘whole child’: balancing the development of life and social skills with academic learning
- Work within a specialist team, which includes Resource Base Manager, 3 specialist Teachers and 10 Teaching Assistants
- Work closely with the SEND teaching staff in the main school and teaching staff as needed based on year groups for integration and developmental needs
Autism Resource Leader – Experienced Primary Teacher – The School:
- A community where children can enjoy a welcoming, secure, happy and healthy environment
- All members can develop self-confidence, self-esteem, self-motivation, independence, compassion, tolerance and understanding
- Mainstream primary school with 2 resource bases that cater for 30 children identified with EHCPs and a formal diagnosis of ASC
- Specialist team has a wealth of experience working with children with a diagnosis of Autism and other identified complex needs
- Personal Development and Wellbeing are a focal point for the school
Autism Resource Leader – Experienced Primary Teacher – Applicant Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Outstanding classroom practitioner
- Passion for supporting pupils holistically
- SEN experience, specifically Autism
- Warm and welcoming personality
