Are you a recent Core Subject graduate with a passion for educating young people and a desire to gain full-time 1:1 & small group tutoring experience in a school setting?

Perhaps you’re a recent English based graduate, and want to find a full-time Academic Support Tutor role supporting students in the lead up to their GCSE exams?

In this role as an Academic Support Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to KS3 & KS4 students within the English subject for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time position.

Academic Support Tutor – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group support English tuition for KS3 & KS4 students
  • Prioritising working on students academic weak points within English subject
  • Located in Central Birmingham area
  • Paid £460 per week during term time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
  • January 2025 to July 2025 contract
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm

Academic Support Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject or Humanities university degree
  • Prior experience mentoring, tutoring or teaching
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Resilient and persevering individual
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
