i-teachers are currently working with an OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college located just outside of Birmingham City Centre who are eager to add a fantastic Academic Learning & Progress Coach able to provide tailored 1:1 & small group tuition to students with ESOL in their adult learning department.

In this role as an Academic Learning & Progress Coach, the successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday based inside of an OFSTED rated ‘outstanding’ sixth form college, earning £475 per week providing a mixture of 1:1, small group and classroom supervision support to adults with English as a second language.

Academic Learning & Progress Coach – Role Information:

  • Providing classroom supervision, small group & 1:1 tutoring support
  • Tailoring support sessions around students academic weak points
  • Located in central Birmingham (B11 area)
  • Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 16.30pm working hours
  • Paid £475 per week during term-time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

Academic Learning & Progress Coach – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based English or ESOL subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
  • Passionate about a career supporting young people and adults
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
