Exciting opportunity at an excellent secondary school based in the Camden area who are actively looking to find a full-time Academic Coach to plan and conduct individual and small group tuition and support for pupils across KS3 and KS4.

In this role as an Academic Coach, the successful candidate will earn £425- £500 per week DOE during term time and can expect full support to be provided at gaining first-hand experience working within a classroom setting.

Key role highlights:

  • Located in Camden – easily accessible via public transport options from across London
  • Earn £425 – £500 per week DOE
  • Monday to Friday position based in a thriving secondary school
  • Available to work throughout term time only – 8:30 – 15:30 approximately.
  • Access to FREE online CPD courses  including Understanding Autism, Safeguarding and Managing Behaviour
  • Working within a classroom setting, supporting the class teacher, alongside providing 1:1 or small group-based support.
  • Flexibility to support within a range of subjects across multiple key stages.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree required; applications urged from all subject specialisms
  • Previous experience working with young people and the ability to build a rapport with children and young people is essential
  • Prior experience tutoring, teaching or mentoring is highly advantageous
  • Passionate about education and working with children or young people, alongside great organisation and communication skills
