This Leicestershire-based Primary School, a true pillar of the local community and the envy of competing provisions, are in the process of seeking a 1:1 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant high in both energy and empathy, keen to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged students, to join their dedicated inclusion team as soon as possible.
1:1 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Benefits:

1:1 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:
- Primary school located in Leicestershire
- 1:1 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
- To work from the beginning to end of the day specifically allocated to a single child who has been thus far home-schooled, with significant gaps in learning
- To bridge the existing gap in terms of academic progress, along with general communication and the pronunciation of words
- The provision of emotional support
- To forge seamlessly a positive working relationship wherein the child trusts you to encourage from them the changes necessary
- To run specific intervention classes in Literacy and Numeracy
- Sociable hours of 0830 – 1530 weekdays (no weekends)
- Coveted Primary 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role

1:1 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Pre-Requisites:
- High-calibre Degree from an elite British University
- Experience in teaching small Intervention Sessions
- Empathetic disposition and collaborative attitude
- Confident and communicative personality type
- Previous work with children necessary
- DBS on the Update Service
- Passion for education and in the emotional progression of young people in crucial stages of development
