Are you a recent Psychology or Childhood Studies based graduate looking to utilise your degree subject knowledge in a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role for the remainder of the academic year?

Perhaps you’re interested in pursuing a career within Educational Psychology, and would value the chance to provide 1:1 support to children with SEN alongside experienced professionals?

In this role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored Education Health Care Plan based support to a child in KS2 with complex learning disabilities in a Monday to Friday role for the remainder of the academic year.

1:1 Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • 1:1 Teaching Assistant
  • Providing 1:1 EHCP tailored support to child with SEN
  • Working both inside and outside of the classroom setting
  • Creating meaningful rapport with pupil
  • Paid £475 per week during term time – Online CPD courses available
  • Monday to Friday role – 08:30am to 15:15pm working hours
  • Located in one primary school for the remainder of the academic year
  • March 2025 – July 2025

1:1 Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based Psychology or Childhood Studies degree
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Passionate about a career supporting children
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
