SEN Teacher

i-teachers are currently working with a top specialist school in Leeds who are seeking a new SEN Teacher to join them from April 2025.

The modern and welcoming school boasts not only fantastic facilities and resources, but also a superb learning environment for students, support staff, SLT and of course SEN Class Teachers.

The SEN Teacher role will see you planning and delivering engaging lessons to a class of 8 – 10 primary students to ensure academic progress whilst managing a number of Teaching Assistants that will support you in running the classroom.

SEN Teacher – Person Specification:

  • QTS / PGCE
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior SEN experience is desirable

  • Strong classroom management
  • Solid communication style
  • Can manage and organise TAs
