We are currently working with an excellent school in Hammersmith, who are looking for a Supply Maths Teacher to join them in January. The role is until May. They are particularly keen to hear from Maths specialists, but welcome strong applications from other STEM backgrounds.

Supply Maths Teacher – key information:

The role: – Supply Maths Teacher

• Assess learning objectives have been achieved
• Ability to evaluate pupil performance in line with the National Curriculum standards
• Be responsible for an aspect of the curriculum
• Provide regular written and verbal feedback
• Maintain a creative learning environment for all pupils
• Establish a strong working relationship with colleagues
• Identify pupils who may have particular learning needs and put appropriate plans in place
• Set clear learning targets
• Responsibility to monitor safeguarding

Supply Maths Teacher – person specification

• UK Qualified teacher status
• Relevant undergraduate degree
• Experience of working in a UK secondary school post QTS is desirable
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Passion for subject area
• Ability to manage your own workload
• Desire to work on CPD
