Are you a recent UK based Sociology graduate with a desire to find a fulfilling Sociology Tutor role in the Barnet area for the academic year?

i-teachers are current working with an excellent sixth form college who are eager to add an outgoing, dedicated and hard-working Sociology Tutor in a part-time role until the exam season begins.

In this role as Sociology Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1, small group and classroom tutoring to sixth form students in Year 12 and 13.

Sociology Tutor – Role information:

  • Providing 1:1, small group and classroom supervision in Sociology
  • Supporting students across Year 12 & 13 demographic
  • Creating engaging support sessions tailored around students needs
  • Paid up to £500 per week during term time only
  • Located in Barnet
  • Part-time role until May 2025
  • Based in an excellent college

Applicant requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Sociology related degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience supporting tutoring, teaching and mentoring is desirable
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Passionate about your specialist subject
