Behaviour Support Worker – Secondary

Secondary School – Full-Time Role – Weekdays only – Paid £425 – £475 per week – November start!

Behaviour Support Worker – The School:

The Role – Behaviour Support Worker:

  • Implement tailored behaviour management plans to promote positive behaviour and address any disruptions effectively
  • Small Group Behaviour Support and 1:1
  • Deliver targeted support to small groups and to individual students to address behavioural challenges and encourage positive interactions
  • Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
  • Provide mentoring and emotional guidance to help students build resilience, enhance self-esteem, and navigate social interactions effectively
  • Assist teachers in managing classroom dynamics and supporting students with behavioural needs during lessons and activities

Behaviour Support Mentor: Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and children
  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting behaviour and/or additional learning needs is essential for consideration.
  • Strong academic background
  • Empathy, patience, strong communication skills, and resilience to meet diverse needs
