Graduate Tutor

Are you a recent UK based graduate with a subject specialism in English, Maths or Science? Do you have a passion for educating young people in your specialist subject, and a desire to find a full-time tutoring role ASAP?

We are currently working with a highly regarded secondary academy based in the Manchester area who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally outgoing Graduate Tutor to their support department in a full-time role for the academic year.

In this role as a Graduate Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & group support to students struggling with their academic progression, whilst also supporting students who may be struggling with exam stress outside of the classroom.

Graduate Tutor – Role Information:

• Graduate Tutor
• Providing 1:1 & group GCSE support to Year 11 students in English, Maths or Science
• Focusing support sessions around academic weak points of students
• Located in Manchester
• Monday to Friday role – October 2024 to July 2025
• Paid up to £500 per week during term time
• Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Graduate Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree within a core subject or equivalent.
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
• Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to keep young people engaged and proactive
• *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
