Are you a recent UK-based university graduate with experience working with children, looking for a full-time role supporting children with special educational needs?

We are working with a fantastic primary school in the Bolton area, eager to welcome a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to their inclusive learning support department for the full academic year.

In this role as a Learning Mentor, the successful candidate will provide focused 1:1 and small group support to children with complex learning needs, following tailored Education Health Care Plans (EHCP).

Role Information:

– Primary SEN Mentor

– Offering 1:1 & small group SEN support to children in the EYFS department

– Tailoring support based on individual EHCPs

– Working both independently and collaboratively with the SEN team

– Located in Bolton, Greater Manchester

– Full-time role, Monday to Friday – September 2024 to July 2025

– Paid up to £500 per week during term time

– Access to multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health, & Safeguarding

Applicant Requirements:

– Minimum 2:2 UK-based university degree

– Prior experience working with young children

– Naturally outgoing and engaging personality

– Strong organisational and communication skills

– Ability to support children with SEN needs

– NO UK visa sponsorship available for this role
