Are you a recent UK based university graduate with experience working with children, and have a desire to utilise your experience in a full-time, school-based Learning Mentor role in Birmingham for the academic year ?
We are currently working with a superb primary school based in the heart of Birmingham, who are eager to add a hard-working, dependable and naturally outgoing Learning Mentor to their KS1 SEN department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.
In this role as a Learning Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group support to children with complex learning difficulties following a structured Education Health Care Plan.

Learning Mentor – Role Information:
- Learning Mentor
- Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to children in KS1
- Focusing support sessions around carefully structured EHCP
- Working both as an individual and as part of a team
- Located in Birmingham (B5 area)
- Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025
- Paid £440 per week during term time
- Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Learning Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
- Prior experience working with young children
- Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to support children with SEN needs
- *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
