i-teachers are currently supporting a wonderful secondary school located in the Redditch area who are eager to add a dedicated, resilient and naturally outgoing SEN Teaching Assistant to provide committed 1:1 & small group SEN support to secondary students with complex learning difficulties in a full-time role for the academic year.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to Year 11 students
• Creating support sessions based around Education Health Care Plan
• Located in Redditch area (B97)
• Monday to Friday position – 08.30am to 15.30pm working hours
• Paid £87 per day during term-time only before tax
• Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents
• Passionate about supporting students in education
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to build and develop rapport with students
