Are you a recent UK based university graduate with a history of supporting children with complex learning difficulties, and have a desire to find a new and exciting full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role in an OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college?
We are currently working with a fantastic sixth form college based in the B11 area who are eager to add a warm, supportive and naturally outgoing SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to sixth form students with complex learning difficulties within their inclusive learning hub for the new academic year.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:
- Planning and conducting 1:1 & small-group learning support
- Utilising degree subject knowledge alongside curriculum
- Located in Birmingham (B11) area
- Monday to Friday role – Based in one sixth form college
- September 2024 – July 2024 contacted position
- Working hours: 08.30am – 16.30pm
- Paid £95 per day during term time
- Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience subject degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience working with young people or children
- Passionate about supporting children with SEN
- Naturally outgoing and hard-working individual
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with young people
