Are you an incoming 2024 Psychology or Neuroscience based university graduate with a passion for special educational needs?

We are currently working with a fantastic sixth form college based in the B12 area who are eager to add a supportive, hard-working and naturally outgoing SEN Mentor to their superb inclusive learning hub in a full-time Monday to Friday position supporting students with learning disabilities for the coming academic year.

SEN Mentor – Role Information:

  • SEN Mentor
  • Located in Birmingham (B12) area
  • Monday to Friday role – Based in one sixth form college
  • September 2024 – July 2024 contacted position
  • Paid £95 per day during term time
  • Planning and conducting 1:1, small group & class support sessions
  • Utilising degree subject knowledge alongside curriculum
  • Creating warm and supportive classroom atmosphere

SEN Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology or Neuroscience subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
  • Naturally outgoing and hard-working individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with young people
