About the College:

• Location: Westminster
• Outstanding transportation links: located just a 7 minute walk from Waterloo underground station, and 6 minutes from Lambeth North Underground Station
• £450-£550 per week
• Full time, Monday – Friday College hours 8-5
• Aged 16-19 mixed college

Graduate College Physics Lab Technician – The role:

• 1 year temporary contract
• September 2024 – June 2025
• Provide technical support for staff and students.
• Work alongside a supportive Science department
• Prepare materials and apparatus for demonstrations and practical work including examination requirements as directed
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of plant and equipment, the upkeep of related service records
• Assist on matters of technique, application and operation of equipment to staff and students operating equipment when required

Candidate Specification – What the College are looking for:

• 2:1 or 1st class degree, in a Science related course
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Relevant experience is preferred
• Strong academic background
• Possess good IT and administrative skills
