Primary School Teaching Assistant – Person Specification

• 2:1 in your degree or higher
• Previous experience with children, for example tutoring is desirable
• Good academic background
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
• Friendly, hard-working and reliable

Primary School Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Working in a general capacity supporting class teachers where required
• Supporting groups of children outside the classroom
• Ensuring progress is being made in the classroom and outside
• Assisting in creating lesson plans and classroom management strategies
• Plan and deliver your own 1:1 booster/intervention sessions
• Paid in term time only, £80 to £95 per day
• Work 5 days per week
• Long term positions only – no supply!
